Le Bois Dormant holiday park on the beautiful Vendee coast is the sister park to Le Bois Masson meaning that you have double the facilities to enjoy at both of these parks.

The area of st jean demonts not only has a beautiful long sandy beach but also many shops bars and places to eat which are very good and popular with tourist. There is also a fantastic market here on a Saturday which is heaven for foodies! Also near by is the pretty village of Apremont. Just half an hour away by car this is a lake side village with a medieval castle which is well worth a visit. Pedalos are available to hire on the beautiful lake and there are many great places to eat with stunning lake side views.
Le Bois Dormant holiday park is a relaxing haven on the Vendee coast. The site is spacious and very attractive and although there is a large range of facilities on the site it still manages to retain a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.
There are two large outdoor pools with water slides and small children will be happy in the heated paddling pool. Aquafit classes are also available and adults can enjoy some time out relaxing in the spa bath. Anyone who enjoys staying active on holiday is well catered for here with a large multi sports pitch and running track. There are also pool tables, tennis and table tennis as well as areas for football and basket ball.
Children will be kept busy at one of the children’s clubs. The bubbles club is for toddlers ages 1-4 and allows children to make friends and join activities in a safe environment accompanied by a parent. Older children ages 5-9 can go off to the pirates club where they will be kept amused with activities such as sports contests, talent shows, face painting and arts and crafts. The evening entertainment is also very child friendly with discos and cabaret shows to delight the whole family.
The site has a small supermarket which stocks all the essentials for self catering holidays. More supplies can be picked up in one 0f the near by villages although in France most shops close on a Sunday even on site, so if you are arriving on a weekend it is best to bring provisions!
If you choose not to cook there is a café with poolside terrace and a takeaway on site as well as many great places to eat in the surrounding areas.
