Les Pierres Couchees Holiday park is Siblus newest 4 star caravan park.
Situated idyllically on the French Atlantic coast, the park is surrounded by stunning woodland which is perfect for exploring, having picnic’s and cycling.
There is a beautiful sandy beach just a 300m walk away which is very safe and children will love running around on the sand dunes and splashing in the waves.
There are also several villages close by which provide great shopping and site seeing opportunities as well as being nice places to enjoy a meal or drink if you fancy an evening off site. The quaint fishing village of Pornic is just 10 miles away and as well as some great little shops and bars also has a medieval castle which is well worth a visit.
However with so much going on on the site itself you may never want to venture out. Facilities at this great family caravan park include a mini market with a bakery, perfect for picking up fresh croissants or French bread to enjoy with a coffee on your terrace each morning.
One tip from previous guests is to remember that in France even shops on site close on Sundays so to bring provisions if you are arriving on a weekend. The holiday homes are very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday but everyone need a night off cooking once in a while. The restaurant and fast food outlet sell good quality food and have child friendly options. The near by area of St Brevin is a lovely place to visit and has some nice places to eat and drink too.
The park has a large out door pool with a fantastic 4 lane water slide. Aqua fit classes
are ran regularly for those who feel they have over indulged in the bakery or just like to keep fit on holiday.
Children will be safe and parents minds can be eased knowing that the pool is staffed by qualified life guards. Sports fans will be pleased to know that there is a large multi sports pitch and there is also a fitness room and gym on site.
Those preferring organised activities are well catered for here with bike hire and bike rides, crazy golf, boles, table tennis, tennis and pool tournaments taking place regularly.
Children will be kept amused both day and night with a variety of day and evening entertainment aimed at just them.
There are several children’s clubs here which include the bubbles club for children ages 1-4 pirates for 5-9 year old’s and the barracudas for older children aged 10-14. They will enjoy taking part in many activities ranging from face painting to talent quests and sporting competitions and will have plenty of opportunities to make new friends and may even pick up a little of the French language leaving you free to enjoy a quiet meal and glass of wonderful French wine.
Off site there are several other activities close by including an 18 hole golf course and many water sports including sailing, fishing and kite surfing for the more daring!
